Fees, Insurance, and Office Information
My fee for individual therapy is $125 for a 50 minute session and $200 for an 80 minute session. For conjoint therapy (intimate partners or families), my fee is $150 for a 50 minute session and $225 for an 80 minute session. We will discuss what duration will be most appropriate for your needs; typically I recommend longer sessions for families or couples, to ensure everyone gets enough time to share. I accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. If you are interested in receiving services but find the cost is out of your budget, please contact me regarding tiered pricing options.
I do not currently work with any insurance providers. This private pay model helps to ensure a higher level of privacy regarding your personal health information, as no information must be exchanged with an insurer to obtain payment.
If you have a PPO plan, you may be able to see me as an out-of-network therapist. I am happy to provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Call the number on your insurance card to inquire about your coverage. I recommend using Better to get help filing reimbursement claims.
My primary office is located in downtown Long Beach. I share my office with my colleague, Carlin Singer, who I consult with regularly. My second office location is in Playa Vista, with Silicon Beach Psychotherapy. Because these offices are each on the second floor, with only stairwell access, I am currently unable to accommodate the needs of some differently-abled individuals.
